About the Role
We are seeking talented back-of-house associates who are eager to take on challenges and grow rapidly with the 85C Bakery Cafe team. We value individuals committed to exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with service beyond expectation, showing sensitivity to individual needs.
- Make a memorable connection and commit to making each guest's experience the best.
- Demonstrate teamwork, follow direction, and collaborate with store management to deliver outstanding service.
- Create an uplifting work atmosphere for employees and customers.
- Bake bread, decorate cakes, and make drinks.
- Be punctual for all scheduled shifts and adhere to company policies.
- Work hard and have fun.
- Cross-train in each department including Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher.
- Fast food or retail experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Acceptable verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
- Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified.
- Available to work at least 20 hours a week.
- Weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Requires moderate physical activity including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
- Requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
