About the Role
We are establishing a new Business Unit for Education and Personnel Development and are seeking a leader to shape its future. This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement your own concepts in a diverse field, with a focus on innovation and exploring new possibilities. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate with other leadership members.
Responsibilities
- Strategic, personnel, and economic responsibility for the Business Unit Education and Personnel Development.
- Leading the school principals of two social schools and two nursing schools in Berlin and Brandenburg, serving approximately 850 students.
- Managing and developing the newly founded Education Academy for internal and external training programs.
- Conceptually developing educational work in vocational and adult education, and creating related offerings.
- Strengthening personnel development through models for recruiting, retaining, and developing employee potential.
- Contributing to the strategic alignment and organizational development of the foundation.
- Representing the foundation in educational policy contexts and networking with stakeholders in the field.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Pedagogy, Adult Education, Social Sciences, or a related humanities field.
- Several years of professional experience in the education sector, vocational schools, further education, or personnel development.
- Several years of leadership experience in one of these areas.
- Experience in economic management and personnel leadership of an organization or organizational unit.
- Knowledge of organizational development and implementation of corporate strategies.
- Proven knowledge in personnel management and employee development.
- Knowledge of project management and third-party funding acquisition.
- Knowledge of and openness to the possibilities of AI application in education.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility.
- Willingness to learn and help shape changes.
