About the Role
As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive. You will take ownership of key administrative and communication processes, including verifying insurance coverage, securing prior authorizations, coordinating physician referrals, and optimizing schedules, to help patients access care quickly and confidently. PT Solutions invests in its team with ongoing training, mentorship, and clear paths for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
- Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
- Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
- Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
- Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
Requirements
- At minimum, a High School or GED diploma
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Experience with healthcare preferred
