About the Role
We are seeking a freelance Portuguese (Brazil) Teacher for a client in New York, United States. This is a one-to-one general course with a total of 10 hours, with sessions lasting two hours each. The student is a beginner and prefers to meet once per week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays after 6 PM, or on weekend mornings. The preferred start date is as soon as possible. The student's motivation is to communicate with her Brazilian husband's family.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
Requirements
- Be a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location.
