About the Role
Lance is seeking a Founding Growth hire to own the company's market presence. This role involves building and executing the go-to-market playbook for founder social media, new features, and product launches, while sharpening the company's messaging. The individual will create content, including filming and editing, and collaborate with creative partners. This position requires close work with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to develop sales tools like pitch decks, demos, case studies, and objection-handling guides. Responsibilities include market research, competitor analysis, content creation for various channels, and performance measurement to optimize strategies. This is an opportunity to build a brand from the ground up at a fast-paced YC company.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the go-to-market playbook for founders' social presence, new features, and product launches.
- Sharpen the message that sets Lance apart in hospitality and AI.
- Create content, including filming and editing, and bring in videographers and creative partners when needed.
- Work closely with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Develop sales tools such as pitch decks, demos, case studies, and objection-handling guides.
- Talk to hotel operators and dig into competitors.
- Feed market insights back into marketing and product development.
- Drive content across website, email, and outbound channels to fill the pipeline.
- Measure all activities to understand performance and optimize strategies.
Requirements
- Experience in Marketing, Growth, Content or related roles in B2B SaaS or AI companies.
- Strong ability to translate technical products (AI, automation, or software platforms) into clear business value.
- Proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns, go-to-market strategies, and product launches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating sales and marketing collateral.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research, customer insights, and performance tracking.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Strong ownership mentality and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality, travel technology, or vertical SaaS is a plus.
