About the Role
As a core member of our production team, you will be responsible for adding ingredients into the ice cream. Duties involve lifting and pouring 50-60 lb pails of sauces and/or 20-30 lb boxes of other ingredients, general housekeeping, and packaging product. Perry’s will support your goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Adding ingredients into the ice cream
- Lifting and pouring 50-60 lb pails of sauces and/or 20-30 lb boxes of other ingredients every 3-5 minutes
- General housekeeping
- Packaging product
- Keep work area clean and in safe condition
- Assist in other areas to support the production and sanitation teams
- Help floor technicians and sanitation technicians when needed, especially during change over
Requirements
- Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Be willing to be payrolled through a temporary staffing service
- Ability to stand and walk for extended amounts of time
- Ability to maintain footing on wet/icy floors
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs continuously
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to briefly enter an extreme environment of -20 degrees at times
- Ability to use proper lifting and bending techniques
- Responsible for following all Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP's)

Education Level
- High School Diploma, HSE or GED required
Salary/Compensations
- $19.44/ hour - $21.59 / hour
