About the Role

As the first GTM Engineer, you will build and run AI agents and automations to find, qualify, route, and retain customers for IMAGO. You will report to the Head of RevOps, collaborate with the RevOps Specialist, and be responsible for the entire automation setup, with success measured by the pipeline generated.

Responsibilities

Build the automated inbound and prospecting engine, including enrichment, ICP scoring, routing, and AI-generated outreach.
Analyze funnel conversion and leakage, segment customers, and translate findings into automations or process changes.
Transform buying signals and product usage data into prioritized HubSpot tasks and test no-touch motions for long-tail customers.
Automate renewals, churn alerts, upsells, and contract-to-invoice processes.
Build and manage AI agents for sales tasks (account research, CRM updates, meeting preparation) using Claude and n8n, including setting guardrails, human approval steps, and tracking performance metrics.
Run scrapers for prospect data and copyright compliance.
Monitor and document all deployed solutions and train the team on their usage.
Ship initial versions rapidly, test their effectiveness, and discontinue unsuccessful automations.

Requirements

2+ years in GTM engineering, RevOps, or growth engineering at a B2B company.
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of SaaS metrics (pipeline, conversion, NRR, churn).
Ability to link every build to revenue and discern when automation is not appropriate.
Proven experience building automations or AI agents used daily by a sales team, with examples to showcase.
Hands-on experience building HubSpot workflows, HubSpot API integrations, and production automations with n8n, Make, or Zapier, including tracking performance metrics.
Experience with scheduled scrapers built using code or tools like Apify, Firecrawl, or Clay.
Experience with API workflows using Tableau or similar BI tools.
Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agents, with the ability to read Python or JavaScript and use SQL.
High level of ownership and a bias for action, comfortable being the first and only GTM Engineer.
Clear written communication skills for project scoping and workflow documentation.
Fluent English.
Willingness to live in Berlin or relocate.
