About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Communicate professionally with team members and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
