About the Role
The Cart Associate/Bagger is responsible for cart control, supply control, and maintaining clean and safe conditions, as well as bagging customer orders. This role also involves directing customers to the Service Desk when needed and providing attentive and friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain supply of carts, including retrieval from parking lot, cleaning and securing when necessary
- Ensure clean and safe floor conditions, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying garbage cans
- Replenish supplies such as bags, register tape, receipts, circulars, and hand baskets
- Assist customers to their cars with their purchases
- Assist cashiers in cashing out customers or bagging customer orders when needed
- Perform price checks
- Complete tasks as assigned such as shop backs and merchandise returns
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate Baler/Compactor
- Must be 18 years of age to operate Ladder
Salary/Compensations
- $16.00- $16.50
