About the Role
Maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
- Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices for processing deliveries, capturing signatures, updating mileage, and completing daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections before operation.
- Ensure security of vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies.
- Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
- Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured at the end of the business day.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and checking in stock orders.
- Assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the company's 14/18-point record system.
- Possess a legally required state driver's license.
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Skills
- Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Ability to operate other light store equipment.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

- $17.00 - $21.50 per hour
