About the Role

The Manager, Food & Beverage (F&B) Products serves as the liaison between F&B operations, Finance, and Technology. This role focuses on Finance-owned capabilities supporting F&B performance, translating business opportunities into product priorities, requirements, controls, analytics, and scalable solutions. The role is central to improving F&B contribution margin, financial visibility, productivity, and control effectiveness through technology and operational processes. A key mandate is end-to-end menu engineering enablement, connecting economics to pricing, sales, and margin decisions for faster, fact-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end functional performance and accountability across the F&B Finance-enabled process.
  • Own the business product vision, roadmap priorities, and requirements for F&B capabilities within the Finance portfolio.
  • Translate F&B Operations and Finance needs into process requirements, user journeys, user stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, control requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead discovery, prioritization, prototyping, requirements validation, user acceptance testing, Finance readiness, adoption, and post-launch value reviews.
  • Prioritize investment using contribution-margin potential, productivity, control improvement, financial insight, operator impact, strategic alignment, risk, scalability, and delivery effort.
  • Partner with ERP, Finance Product, Data, Engineering, supply chain, F&B technology, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Enable menu engineering and contribution-margin performance by providing processes, data, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Define value cases, baselines, targets, leading indicators, and post-implementation measures with Finance and F&B stakeholders.
  • Use data to identify opportunities and validate the benefit of product and process changes.
  • Embed adoption enablement, controls, and operating readiness into the product plan.
  • Report roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, adoption, product health, and realized value to leadership.
  • Define data, calculations, reporting, and business requirements supporting menu engineering, contribution margin, pricing, COGS, sales mix, and management reporting.
  • Partner with ERP and supply chain teams on requirements affecting ERP-managed items, vendors, purchasing, inventory, costing, or related supply-chain data.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics and restaurant technology teams for governed access to POS or guest-platform data.
  • Identify the best approach for addressing opportunities (process change, ERP capability, platform, reporting, automation, or application).
  • Support scalable adoption through user readiness, change plans, training content, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of relevant experience across restaurant, foodservice, hospitality, restaurant technology, F&B Finance, enterprise systems, or a related environment, with meaningful exposure to restaurant operations and commercial performance.
  • Experience in Finance product management, product ownership, ERP business enablement, restaurant finance technology, restaurant systems, or technology-enabled Finance transformation.
  • Experience translating business needs into requirements and supporting adoption and change.
  • Strong understanding of menu engineering and recipe costing, including ingredients, recipe quantities and yields, COGS, menu-item pricing, sales volumes, sales mix, and contribution margin.
  • Working knowledge of ERP-enabled processes and how Finance, procurement, inventory, costing, operational data, controls, and reporting work together.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across F&B Operations, Finance, Product, ERP, Data, Engineering, and external partners.
