About the Role

This strategic procurement role is critical to ensuring the competitive supply of high-quality materials and services for GLOBALFOUNDRIES Singapore operations. The position focuses on material and consumables supplies, requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders and the Global Supply Management Team to leverage the supply base and global best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define sourcing strategy(s) for assigned commodity in alignment with the objectives of the Global Supply Management organization and the respective Global Commodity Head.
• Partner with Global EHS for program management of sustainability initiatives.
• Plan, support and conduct commercial negotiations.
• Actively utilize strategic tools, processes & systems to perform sourcing and analytical/reporting tasks (Jaggaer, Spend Analytics, Power BI, Cleansheeting, Negotiation Planners, etc).
• Act as the primary procurement point of contact for stakeholders for assigned commodity(s) for both ongoing manufacturing operations and new product development activities.
• Support site specific supply issues working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other key internal stakeholders.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities, alternative sourcing strategies, global price trends, and communicate progress / achievements to realize maximum value and organizational objectives.
• Monitor the local and global market to identify potential new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations.
• Analyze, manage, and control contractual agreements and prepare renegotiations to achieve commercial and technical objectives.
• Establish a robust business continuity sourcing plan for assigned commodity(s) via mapping supply base and geographic risks with corresponding mitigation plans.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration and/or relevant field of study.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally including USA and Germany from time to time.
