About the Role
The London Borough of Harrow has an excellent opportunity for an Educational Psychologist to start their career or develop skills within a supportive, progressive, and well-regarded service. The Educational Psychology Service has developed a high level of commissioned work across the Borough, enabling EP contribution to SEN Support level assessment and consultation, organisational support and intervention, and community-based projects. The service is also playing a central role in SEND Reform activity, including shaping 'Experts at Hand' planning and delivery, and strengthening work around Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide EP contribution to SEN Support level assessment and consultation.
- Offer organisational support and intervention.
- Engage in community-based projects.
- Provide a range of support within linked schools and settings.
- Contribute to SEND Reform activity.
- Strengthen work around Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Deliver ELSA.
- Engage in Attachment Research Community work.
- Participate in a two-year project with Public Health in relation to Emotional Based School Non Attendance.
Requirements
- Educational Psychology MSc or Doctorate, or currently completing Educational Psychology Doctorate training.
- HCPC Practitioner Psychologists registered or on the training programme.
