About the Role
Build the software behind some of the world’s most advanced radar systems. You’ll build the backend services, data pipelines and operator-facing apps that turn raw sensor data into decisions people can act on.
Responsibilities
- Build high-performance Python services that ingest, process and distribute real-time sensor data with low latency, high reliability and security at scale
- Build web apps (TypeScript and React) operators use to monitor live missions and investigate sensor data
- Design and build secure, scalable Azure services for distributed radar systems, defining infrastructure as code and instrumentation
- Work alongside software, hardware, and systems engineers, and field teams
- Influence architecture and help define engineering foundations of a fast-evolving platform
Requirements
- Experience building scalable backend systems and owning production services
- Experience with distributed systems and real-time data problems
- Proficiency with AI coding tools, with a considered view on delegation
- Willingness to travel to San Francisco for approximately one week each quarter for team co-location
- Right to work in the UK required
