About the Role

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Perform basic plant maintenance, repair and installation tasks.
Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems.
Inspect, test and operate machinery and equipment prior to releasing to manufacturing.
Replace electrical components, motors, install belts, tighten nuts and bolts, adjust and align rolls and rollers, replace defective parts.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report unusual situations to supervision.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair work on AC and DC motors and controls.
Adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

Ability to work 12 hours shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to utilize electrical testing equipment (Meters and meggers).
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.

Skills

Mechanical maintenance related to production equipment.
Operation of power and manual tools.
Operation of light and heavy equipment.
Electrical testing equipment (Meters and meggers).

Education Level

High school diploma/GED
Completion of a craft apprenticeship or craft training program.

Salary/Compensations

Hiring Pay Range: $43,700 USD - $61,776 USD
