About the Role
Help millions take back control of their online security, privacy, and data by adapting and transcreating marketing materials, creating blog posts, and transforming complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and transcreate marketing materials, including website content, app interfaces, PPC ads, and campaigns from English into German, ensuring market relevance in the DACH region for Nord Security products
- Create blog posts based on briefs and suggest ideas for new content
- Proofread German content, monitor content across websites and apps, and provide feedback to maintain quality
- Develop content for external partners, including advertorials, newsletter copy, sales copy or similar materials for affiliates and influencers
- Support the PR department with transcreations of press releases
- Transform complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages that inspire action
- Switch between writing styles and formats to meet the needs of different audiences
- Stay updated on market, technology, cybersecurity, travel, and innovation trends as well as market relevant events.
Requirements
- 1+ years of full-time copywriting in German and/or localization/translation experience into German (freelance or employed) with a portfolio or content links
- Interested in close collaboration with local and global teams and other departments like, SEO, Influencers and Affiliates teams and willing to take on related tasks to support local market development
- Fluent English skills
- Basic SEO knowledge; GEO knowledge is a plus
- Experience with translation tools (e.g., Crowdin) or project management tools (e.g., Jira) is welcome but not mandatory
- Creative mindset with proactive approach to work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Willing to work in a dynamic environment where new products are created within weeks and projects are completed within days and keen to actively contribute to the success of all local projects
