About the Role
We are seeking a lawyer specializing in public procurement law to join our Berlin office. This role involves advising clients on procurement procedures for services, supplies, and construction, as well as representing them before various legal bodies. You will also provide advice on construction law, both contractually and publicly.
Responsibilities
- Accompanying public procurement procedures for services, supplies, and construction.
- Advising bidders, particularly in the postal services sector, on all aspects of public procurement law, including bid processing, tender review, and assertion of procedural errors.
- Creating expert opinions and memos.
- Representing clients before public procurement tribunals, courts, arbitration tribunals, and conciliation bodies.
- Providing advice on construction law, both contractually and publicly, in addition to the public procurement focus.
- Early assumption of responsibility and direct client contact.
- Flat hierarchies and a partnership-based and collegial working atmosphere.
Requirements
- Two successfully completed state examinations in law.
- Ideally, initial professional experience as a lawyer.
- Interest in and understanding of technical and economic contexts.
- High level of commitment and strong communication skills.
