About the Role
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented contributors to participate in a short-term retail research project. In this role, you will visit an assigned consumer electronics retail location on two specific dates and document your experience according to project guidelines. Your observations will help support research related to customer experience, retail operations, and consumer technology.
Responsibilities
- Visit an assigned retail store on Nov 6th, 7th or 8th.
- Arrive at the location at the instructed time and follow the project schedule.
- Observe and document the overall retail and customer experience.
- Evaluate areas such as customer service and sales approach, product presentation, store environment, and customer journey and overall experience.
- Follow a structured questionnaire and project guidelines.
- Capture permitted store/product photos when required.
- Submit clear and detailed observations following each visit.
- Provide collected information in English within the required timeframe.
- Communicate promptly with the project team regarding any issues during the assignment.
Requirements
- Be located in or able to travel to Tokyo.
- Be available for an in-person store visit on Nov 6th, 7th or 8th.
- Be available for an extended visit if required due to store traffic or waiting times.
- Have strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Be comfortable using smartphones and consumer technology.
- Have an interest in technology, electronics, or retail.
- Be able to follow detailed written instructions accurately.
- Be fluent in English and Japanese.
