About the Role
Our caretaker plays an important role in the smooth running of our school. You will help create a safe, secure and welcoming environment in which children can learn and staff can work effectively.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs
- Completing daily site checks
- Supporting health and safety procedures
- Assisting with the setup of rooms and equipment
- Helping to ensure that the building and grounds are well maintained, clean, safe and ready for the school day
Requirements
- Reliable, practical and hardworking
- Takes initiative
- Works well independently
- Can respond calmly and efficiently to the changing needs of a busy school
- Conditional on successful pre-employment checks including identity, right to work, references, criminal records, barred list references, qualifications and medical checks, together with any applicable prohibition, and overseas checks
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview and asked to demonstrate relevant practical skills

- 7.15am – 3.15pm Monday to Friday
