About the Role
The ERP Business Change Project Manager will ensure SRT's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central roadmap and backlog are robustly managed, and that delivered changes are embedded in business operations. The program covers Procurement/P2P, Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, and Projects/Jobs. Changes are built by an in-house developer and an external partner, and this role will maintain a single view of work, managing business change around each release.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate the current backlog into a single controlled backlog and roadmap covering all process areas and delivery sources.
- Maintain the backlog by capturing, defining, sizing, and updating each item with a clear business owner and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare prioritization recommendations for the Head of Systems Procurement with supporting evidence.
- Maintain the roadmap and release plan, flagging dependencies, conflicts, and slippage.
- Coordinate delivery between the in-house developer and the Microsoft partner to ensure single ownership and prevent duplication.
- Track partner delivery and effort against the plan, reporting variances.
- Coordinate business testing (UAT) and sign-off before each release.
- Produce and maintain process documentation and SOPs for each delivered change.
- Design and deliver user training for each affected user group.
- Plan and run communications and stakeholder engagement across relevant departments.
- Define how embedding will be evidenced for each release.
- Prepare a handover of the backlog, roadmap, and change approach to the Head of Systems Procurement.
- Produce the plan for rolling out changes beyond the Systems business.
- Attend SRT UK sites to roll out delivery and conduct workshops to ensure system usability.
Requirements
- Experience delivering business change on an ERP implementation or enhancement program.
- Demonstrable experience managing a product or project backlog and roadmap, including refinement, dependency management, and release planning.
- Experience producing process documentation and SOPs, and designing and delivering user training.
