About the Role

This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering organization that delivers secure, scalable, and innovative solutions supporting the end-to-end customer lifecycle for the Hosted Payment Pages team.

Responsibilities

Collaboratively develop features and engineering capabilities for Hosted Payment Pages, aiming to employ automation wherever necessary.
Collaborate in all stages of development from requirement discussions with the Product Owner to the deployment of the feature in the cloud.
Join the on-call rota to support the highly available products developed by the squad.
Collaborate with fellow engineers from other squads to make decisions around technologies, patterns, and approaches to adopt.

Requirements

Experience with front-end technologies, such as React, Webpack, TypeScript, Redux, and Material UI.
Experience building and operating large scale and highly available microservices deployed to the cloud.
Experience building microservices with latest versions of Docker, Spring Boot and Java.
Experience with unit testing and BDD frameworks, such as JUnit, Cucumber and Jest.
An engineering skillset focused on quality.
An agile mindset to drive both the squad and the wider tribe towards better ways of working.
