About the Role
You will join the Options Execution team as a Software Engineer, working at the heart of QRT's options trading business. The team designs, builds and operates the systems that take trading decisions from research through to the market, spanning low-latency execution engines, research tooling and analytics infrastructure. Embedded directly within the trading desk, you will partner closely with Quantitative Researchers and Traders to deliver robust, high-performance software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, helping to drive the continued growth of QRT's global options footprint.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate systems for options trading.
- Develop low-latency execution engines.
- Build research tooling and analytics infrastructure.
- Partner with Quantitative Researchers and Traders.
- Deliver robust, high-performance software.
- Contribute to the growth of QRT's global options footprint.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ and Python.
- Solid computer science fundamentals.
- Ability to listen to technical arguments and change views based on evidence.
- Clear and precise communication on technical topics in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of underlying system components (CPU, memory, operating systems, networking).
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage projects from inception to delivery.
