About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who brings a "day one" mentality. This role involves building end-to-end AI products at startup speed, focusing on functional results and Agentic AI to advance industrial-grade software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical engine for AI products, designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end AI solutions for industrial challenges.
- Innovate ML workflows using Agentic Coding Frameworks and LLMOps to accelerate time-to-market and automate development.
- Lead product lifecycle execution with a lean, MVP-driven approach, focusing on rapid prototyping and continuous deployment.
- Translate complex AI/Cloud architectures into scalable technical solutions, managing technical debt and maximizing value delivery.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and align stakeholders on AI solution feasibility and scalability.
Requirements
- Proven track record (ideally 5+ years) in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conception to production serving.
- Deep practical knowledge of AI/ML (LLMs, RAG) and experience with Agentic Frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, Autogen).
- Experience with AI-native development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor).
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Understanding of production-grade software development and scalable cloud architectures (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, version control (GitLab/GitHub), and big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Spark).
- Direct and concise communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both developers and stakeholders.
- Resilience and ability to engage in constructive debate and push back when necessary.
- Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
