About the Role
As a Planning Specialist, you will analyze and optimize planning processes, implement SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, and support the migration from existing SAP solutions to SAC Planning. You will also ensure integration with S/4HANA and Datasphere, conduct workshops and training, and assist with pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize planning processes, from financial planning to integrated corporate planning.
- Implement SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including data models, planning sequences, allocation logic, and predictive planning scenarios.
- Support the transition from existing SAP BPC and BW-IP solutions to SAC Planning, utilizing SAP Datasphere as a modern data source.
- Ensure the functional and technical integration of planning scenarios with S/4HANA FI/CO, SAP Datasphere, and other source systems.
- Conduct business workshops, document planning requirements, and train key users and end-users.
- Participate in proposals and customer presentations, and develop demos and proof-of-concepts.
- Confidently use AI tools in your field, critically evaluate results, and help clients leverage AI potential.
Requirements
- Completed university degree or comparable education.
- Minimum of four years of experience in implementing and developing SAP planning solutions (SAC Planning, SAP BPC, SAP BW-IP or similar).
- Sound process knowledge in corporate planning.
- Programming skills, ideally in HANA SQL Script, ABAP, JavaScript, and SAC Advanced Formulas.
- Results-oriented, systematic, and analytical working style.
- Communicative and reliable personality.
- Very good German and good English language skills for confident communication.
