About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of regional server hall layout design and execution programs across data center builds authoring project plans, phasing milestones, and managing schedules.
  • Drive multi-phase spatial, chip-agnostic, and chip-specific server hall layout execution for third-party colocation (3PDC) and modular facilities evaluating architectural and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings across column grids, clear heights, rolling hot/cold aisle containment, and long-lead power/cooling equipment gates.
  • Lead cross-functional technical reviews and separately triage engineering issues across overhead busway and tap-off power distribution, in-row AC/DC power conversion sidecars, liquid-to-liquid Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and secondary fluid manifolds, and high-radix optical fiber conveyance.
  • Execute change management rollout plans and technical impact analyses for in-flight AI/ML design modifications.
  • Maintain project trackers, risk registers, and audience-tailored program communications across concurrent regional site builds.

Requirements

  • Experience in data center architecture.
  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) Capacity and Constraints Management.
