About the Role

This role is responsible for maintaining back of house F&B areas, storerooms, and kitchens to the highest standards, assisting with waste disposal and recycling, and cleaning kitchen equipment and crockery. The role involves the use of cleaning chemicals and requires adherence to COSHH standards.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining crockery, glassware, and cutlery.
Operating cleaning machines, dishwashers, and polishers safely.
Providing support across all Raffles and Mauro Colagreco areas.
Organizing back storerooms and recording breakages and wastage.
Coordinating waste disposal and recycling according to Raffles' green standards.
Organizing and distributing deliveries.
Performing additional responsibilities in the absence of line management.
Undertaking duties in different departments or restaurants as required.
Ensuring COSHH standards and procedures are met when handling chemicals.
Reporting and rectifying potential and real hazards immediately.
Adhering to departmental Fire, Emergency, and Bomb procedures.
Ensuring the safety of persons and property by adhering to laws and anticipating hazards.
Promoting Health and Safety awareness in all tasks.

Requirements

Proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to maintain an immaculate and professional appearance.
Understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24h operational schedule.
Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards (Desirable).
