About the Role
This broad role involves delivering the Publishing People Strategy through organizational effectiveness and capability initiatives, leadership, talent, and development. You will lead business-wide people programs, collaborate with leaders and Centres of Excellence, and focus on developing leadership capability, strengthening talent, improving organizational effectiveness, and building future skills for Publishing.
Responsibilities
- Drive programmes that improve organisational effectiveness, ways of working and business performance.
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and future skills needs.
- Drive future skills and AI capability initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Lead leadership and management development initiatives, including the rollout of leadership frameworks.
- Support and embed talent management, succession planning and career development practices.
- Promote learning and development opportunities, including Bauer Academy and other capability-building programmes.
- Design and deliver leadership, management and capability-building workshops.
- Lead people initiatives arising from the Publishing People Strategy.
- Lead annual people processes including performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning and pay review activity.
- Support policy implementation, manager upskilling and probation processes.
- Work closely with leaders, People Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to deliver people initiatives.
