About the Role

We are seeking an employee for the Planning and Realization of Tram and Bus Depots department, for a fixed term until mid-February 2028. Classification in the TV-N Berlin will be based on professional experience.

Responsibilities

Holistic processing of new, conversion, and expansion projects for BVG.
Coordination of internal and external project partners.
Project control regarding deadlines, costs, and quality.
Creation of process and planning documents.
Coordination with authorities, utility companies, and third parties.
Participation in procurement processes.
Development of traffic management concepts.
Support for project management.
Control of internal project processes, e.g., with purchasing and specialist departments.
Accompanying commissioning.
Reviewing invoices.
Responsibility for documentation and handover of construction measures.

Requirements

Completed degree (Bachelor or Fachhochschulabschluss) in Civil Engineering, Structural/Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience.
Very good German language skills (minimum language level C1).
Fitness for duty examination according to BOStrab is expected during the hiring process.

Skills

Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., VOB, UVgO, VDI guidelines).
Initial experience with CAD systems and SAP modules.
Strong persuasive ability and assertiveness.
