About the Role
Otis is seeking an installation technician for elevators and escalators, responsible for new construction and renovation projects. This role requires strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and a commitment to prioritizing safety for passengers and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Install new elevators with high quality and efficiency.
- Perform work safely in accordance with all environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
- Travel as needed for business.
- Communicate directly with customers on-site to build strong working relationships.
- Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Possess knowledge of electricity and mechanics and apply principles to installations.
- Experience in installing elevators or escalators is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a career as an elevator installation technician.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Confident in understanding and applying electrical and mechanical principles.
- Confident in reading blueprints and performing calculations.
- Eager to learn technical products and new technologies.
- Potential for future relocation.
