About the Role
Join Otis as an installation technician for elevators and escalators, contributing to urban infrastructure. This role involves direct communication with various stakeholders and prioritizing the safety of passengers and personnel during new and renovation construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Install new elevators with high quality and efficiency.
- Perform work safely in accordance with all environmental health and safety guidelines.
- Travel to different locations as needed.
- Communicate directly with customers on-site to build strong working relationships.
- Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Possess knowledge of electricity and mechanics and apply principles to installations.
- Experience in installing elevators or similar vertical transportation systems is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a career as an elevator installation technician.
- Must have a regular driver's license.
- Confident in understanding technical drawings and performing calculations.
- Eager to learn new technical products and technologies.
