About the Role
Otis is seeking Elevator and Escalator Installation Technicians to join their team in Japan. This role involves installing new and renovating existing elevators and escalators, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Install new elevators and escalators with high quality and efficiency.
- Perform work in accordance with all environmental health and safety guidelines.
- Travel for business as needed.
- Communicate directly with customers on-site to build strong working relationships.
- Conduct pre-installation and post-installation inspections to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Possess knowledge of electricity and mechanics and apply principles to installations.
- Experience in elevator installation is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a career as an elevator installation technician.
- Must have a regular driver's license.
- Confident in electricity and mechanics.
- Confident in reading blueprints and performing calculations.
- Eager to learn technical products and new technologies.
