About the Role
This position involves sales of pharmaceutical intermediates and related services to the pharmaceutical industry. You will be deeply involved in the entire pharmaceutical value chain, supporting clients from development to commercial production, and will gain a global perspective and high level of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Propose and provide pharmaceutical intermediates and various solutions to originator pharmaceutical manufacturers during each phase from R&D to product launch.
- Propose pharmaceutical intermediates to generic pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Conduct needs assessments and propose solutions to purchasing, R&D, and technical departments of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Communicate daily with overseas suppliers, adjust prices and delivery times, and gather information.
- Search for, develop, and build relationships with new overseas suppliers.
- Participate in exhibitions and industry events held domestically and internationally (several times a year).
Requirements
- Sales experience in the chemical industry.
Skills
- Knowledge of cost and price calculations
- International logistics and supply chain management
- Inventory management and demand/supply management
- Basic knowledge of accounting and revenue management
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry laws and compliance
- Negotiation and communication skills with global suppliers
- Experience in the import business of fine chemicals (pharmaceutical/agrochemical intermediates)
- English proficiency
- Sales experience in a trading company
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (regardless of job type)
