About the Role
The Chief of Staff WWM will lead, manage, and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects for the Worldwide Markets Leadership Team. This role involves overseeing team agendas, managing meetings, and disseminating decisions. The incumbent will act as a thought partner to leadership, drive strategic initiatives for growth, architect WWM 2028 outcomes, and serve as a key interface between various leadership teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects for the Worldwide Markets Leadership Team.
- Oversee the management of the WWM LT and adjacent satellites teams, including agenda development, meeting management, and dissemination of decisions.
- Act as a sparring partner and thought partner to WWM LT members in decision-making and creating organizational impact.
- Manage and drive strategic initiatives and operational priorities that foster growth across the Pharma WWM organization.
- Take a leading role in identifying, scoping, and ensuring the intended impact of new initiatives.
- Architect, shape, and drive WWM 2028 outcomes within the context of the Pharma Strategy.
- Act as an ambassador and key interface between WWM Country Leadership Teams, Product Team Leads, Global Commercialization Leadership Team, and other key contacts.
- Enhance information and communication within the Bayer organization.
- Ensure the Pharma Chief Operating Officer is well-prepared for responsibilities, including content, strategic framework, background information, and communication.
- Identify issues early, provide balanced analyses of challenges, and develop potential solutions for the WWM Pharma and Country organization.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of business insights to drive operational priorities for the business.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to manage in a decentralized organization.
- Competencies include collaboration, drive for results, managing complexity and ambiguity.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of progressive experience; or Advanced degree (MBA or PhD) with 8+ years of experience.
- Cross-functional experiences across marketing, sales, operations and other areas is highly preferred.
