About the Role

As our Data Engineer within EY Data & Analytics, you’ll help clients define and implement data journeys aligned to their strategic objectives. You’ll work across the project lifecycle, from strategy, road-mapping and architecture through to implementation and development, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and using leading data and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex data challenges and identify practical analytical and engineering solutions.
Design and develop data integration patterns, scalable pipelines, and data profiling and cleansing frameworks across varied data types and platforms.
Contribute across strategy, road-mapping, architecture, implementation and development to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Requirements

Hands-on expertise with Spark, Python and SQL, together with experience in one or more of Java, Scala or Kafka.
Experience building data integration pipelines and working with RDBMS, NoSQL and blob storage technologies.
Experience with cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, containers or OpenStack.
Ability to assess data complexity, including volume, structure and relationships, and translate findings into effective solution designs.
Experience delivering Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data or analytics projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working directly with clients in a consulting environment.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes as part of a diverse, high-performing team.
