About the Role

TransPerfect Games is seeking native French-speaking Game Localization QA Testers to join their team. This role involves testing upcoming game titles, from independent to AAA, and providing client support for test-related issues in a dynamic environment. It's an opportunity to turn a passion for games into a career in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization/linguistic issues.
Verify fixes using test tools or databases.
Follow and complete Test Cases/Checklists for targeted testing.
Execute relevant testing processes and procedures.
Write bug descriptions according to company standards and client specifications.
Apply knowledge of user preferences in the Target Market to influence the client’s product.
Proactively identify gaps in test coverage.
Collaborate with partner teams in product testing.
Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance.
Complete all other appropriate tasks for the role.

Requirements

Native level of French with excellent spelling and grammar.
Good command of the English language for instructions, documentation, and communication.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Excellent attention to detail.
Possess a "can-do" attitude and great work ethics.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Understanding of digital technologies (mobile, tablets, browser tools, etc.).
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Drive, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative environment.
