About the Role

The Portfolio Reporting & Analytics Intern will support the Strategy & Analytics (S&A) team in managing data for investment tracking, portfolio financial performance, and returns. The intern will receive direct mentorship and hands-on exposure to the S&A team's daily tasks, with opportunities to participate in broader summer programming, including Investment Committee meetings and speaker series, to gain exposure to Riverside’s business, leaders, and culture.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate collection of investment and performance data from deal teams and portfolio company management.
Design and/or implement modifications to portfolio monitoring systems with the development team, Business Technology Office, and internal stakeholders.
Aggregate and summarize data to respond to inquiries from investors, investment professionals, and stakeholders.
Analyze returns and financial performance of past and present investments to inform decision-making and shape fundraising narratives.
Research private equity industry trends and developments.
Create PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and memos to communicate research and analytical findings and shape executive presentations.
Support the S&A team with other ad hoc projects.

Requirements

Undergraduate student from the Class of 2028.
Track record of academic and extracurricular achievement.
Intellectually curious.
Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable.
Professional demeanor.
Must abide by Riverside's internal policies related to data protection.
Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
