About the Role
Pluckers Wing Bar is hiring experienced Line Cooks for their Austin-area locations. This role involves cooking in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, preparing food to quality standards, managing multiple orders, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Cook in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant kitchen.
- Prepare food quickly and consistently to Pluckers' quality standards.
- Run assigned line station, including setup, stocking, cleaning, and closing.
- Manage multiple orders while maintaining accuracy, timing, and food quality.
- Work with the kitchen team to keep service smooth during busy shifts.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of restaurant line cook experience is preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently while keeping food quality and consistency high.
- Familiarity with line stations, food prep, kitchen setup, and closing procedures.
- Dependability, a strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
- Night and/or weekend availability preferred.

- $21–$22/hour starting pay for experienced cooks
- Up to $23/hour within 60 days
- Starting closer to $20/hr for less experienced candidates
