About the Role
We are seeking an engineer to provide advanced technical support in the network domain, based on the Windows OS, within Customer Service & Support (CSS). This role involves not just handling inquiries, but also logically identifying the root cause of critical incidents supporting enterprise systems and proactively leading them to resolution, delving into the internal workings of Windows and network protocol behavior. CSS fosters a culture that welcomes technical discussions, where evaluation is based on technical depth and logic, not seniority or title. Even junior members can tackle advanced cases based on their abilities and engage in discussions with senior qualification holders and those with extensive foreign experience on equal footing. This position also assumes the active utilization of generative AI, including Copilot, for technical research, knowledge retrieval, and customer communication. We welcome individuals who can balance high productivity with quality while effectively leveraging AI.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support in network and infrastructure domains related to Windows OS, primarily for corporate customers with paid support contracts.
- Handle advanced technical support for Windows Server / Client.
- Perform complex troubleshooting focused on network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, IPv4 / IPv6, SMB, HTTP(S), TLS, and network packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark).
- Analyze issues and quickly isolate problems from an OS, Network, and authentication infrastructure perspective.
- Investigate Active Directory and authentication/access control.
- Conduct performance analysis and memory dump analysis.
- Collaborate technically with domestic escalation engineers and development departments.
- Proactively drive technically challenging cases with high customer impact to resolution.
- Improve investigation efficiency and achieve high-quality customer support by utilizing Copilot and generative AI.
- Logically explain the observed phenomena and next steps, based on an understanding from the network to the internal implementation and design principles of Windows, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related field (Information, Electrical, Communications, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- Fundamental network knowledge equivalent to CCNA or higher, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, and IPv4 / IPv6.
- Programming experience with the ability to read and debug native code.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in a Windows environment.
- Experience proactively handling technically challenging customer cases.
- Communication skills to explain technical content logically and clearly to customers.
- Proactiveness to structure and make decisions/take actions independently, rather than waiting for instructions.
- Drive to see problems through to completion with a sense of speed and strong ownership.
- Ability to enhance work productivity by utilizing generative AI and various tools.
