About the Role

Microsoft is seeking an AI Transformation Integrated Marketing Manager to strengthen its position as the AI Transformation partner of choice for customers in Japan. This role will translate global and regional AI Transformation priorities into locally relevant customer narratives and integrated marketing experiences, contributing to Japan-specific storytelling, cross-solution campaigns, flagship moments, executive engagement, digital programs, customer proof, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt global and regional AI Transformation narratives for the Japanese market and customer context.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, customer proof, and Frontier stories in partnership with Field, Cloud Solutions areas (CSA), GTM, Sales, and Communications teams.
  • Translate complex AI, cloud, security, and enterprise transformation concepts into clear and compelling customer value.
  • Plan and execute assigned workstreams across integrated cross-solution campaigns, flagship moments, executive programs, and digital engagement.
  • Coordinate agencies, internal contributors, and stakeholders; manage milestones and dependencies; and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Support seller activation and post-event follow-up so that marketing engagement and signals can translate into customer conversations and pipeline opportunities.
  • Build trusted working relationships across Japan Sales, GTM, Field Marketing, CSA Marketing, Asia CMO, Operations, and other partner teams.
  • Prepare recommendations, business updates, and decision materials for key stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate material risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in a timely manner.
  • Participate in senior stakeholder discussions with appropriate preparation and coaching, taking on greater responsibility as experience and impact grow.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate reach, engagement, customer coverage, pipeline influence, customer proof, and program quality.
  • Establish a consistent measurement and reporting rhythm for assigned programs.
  • Turn results and learnings into practical recommendations and improve programs through test-and-learn cycles.
  • Manage assigned budgets and vendor activities with appropriate manager oversight.
  • Deliver programs on time and with strong operational rigor.
  • Follow Microsoft standards and requirements related to privacy, security, accessibility, brand, procurement, and responsible marketing.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in B2B marketing, integrated campaigns, digital marketing, events and programs, communications, customer engagement, marketing operations, or an equivalent area.
  • Experience managing projects, coordinating diverse contributors, and delivering measurable outcomes in a complex business environment.
  • Strong Japanese communication skills and professional working proficiency in English, with a willingness to continue building confidence in cross-regional collaboration and business reporting.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, relevant, and compelling customer value.
  • Data literacy and experience using metrics, insights, and an ROI-focused rhythm of business to evaluate and improve marketing activities.
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Growth mindset, learning agility, sound judgment, accountability, and an inclusive and collaborative working style.
  • Curiosity and willingness to deepen knowledge of AI, cloud, security, and enterprise transformation.
  • Business fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.
  • Experience in enterprise technology, cloud, AI, security, integrated marketing, or organizational change programs.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, GTM, Communications, Operations, agencies, or other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting customer or executive engagement programs and developing customer stories or thought-leadership content.
