About the Role
Join Combined Metal Industries' (CMI) Operations Management Trainee Program as a new graduate passionate about leadership and operations. Develop into a future leader within a fast-paced, growing scrap metal recycling company.
Responsibilities
- Shadow and support Operations Leaders to understand site-specific workflows and challenges.
- Take ownership of different projects including, optimizing productivity and reducing waste.
- Develop key leadership skills by managing people and teams in real-time.
- Build cross-functional knowledge by collaborating with departments like Fleet & Logistics, Maintenance, Sales, and Business Process Improvement.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
- A passion for leadership and the ambition to grow into a management role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves, work on the plant floor, and learn the business from the ground up.
