  • Act as a Deloitte Leader, responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of junior team members.
  • Drive business development activity, including contributing to proposals, identifying opportunities within existing client relationships, and building your external profile.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, market-facing publications, and the internal development of the Global Information Reporting proposition.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support the commercial management of engagements, including monitoring economics, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Requirements

  • Technical tax expertise and strong working knowledge of international tax transparency developments (e.g., FATCA, CRS, MDR, DAC 7, QI, CESOP, CARF) or withholding tax, with the ability to provide technical oversight across complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements.
  • Proven track record of building and managing relationships, with confidence to engage with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders across tax and technology.
  • Demonstrable passion for contributing to business development, including experience of writing and presenting proposals and developing new propositions or service offerings.
  • Strong people leadership and project management skills, with experience of managing and reviewing the work of junior team members and delegating effectively across complex, concurrent engagements.
  • Ideal but not essential: Experience of, or a strong interest in, working on technology and change management projects within an operational tax or tax compliance context.
  • Ideal but not essential: Project management experience, including the ability to manage engagement economics, track budgets, and manage risk on client engagements.
