About the Role
Interstate Waste Services is hiring Rear Load CDL Drivers for year-round, steady work in Chester, NY. This role offers an early morning schedule and a safety-first work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a rear-load truck collecting waste and recycling from customer locations.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Navigate tight or congested areas.
- Transport materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities.
- Perform some manual labor pickup.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- Air brake endorsement.
- 1+ year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Clean MVR and strong safety record.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
- Must meet DOT and physical requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- 18 Years of Age & Legally Eligible to Work in the United States.
Skills
- Waste/recycling experience preferred.
