About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support scalable software applications and cloud-based solutions.
- Build and maintain modern web applications, SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and microservices for internal and external users.
- Develop high-quality code using modern development practices, including Agile, TDD/BDD, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams to define requirements, estimate work, and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects while ensuring system performance, security, and reliability.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and deployment procedures.
- Ensure solutions align with software engineering standards, information security controls, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Contribute to the ongoing scalability, maintainability, and continuous improvement of products and platforms.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance development efficiency, innovation, and product delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- Proficiency with modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases; Kafka and NoSQL experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and provide a valid work or study permit if selected for an interview.
