About the Role

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD. This full-time, year-round position offers a fun work environment and the chance to build a career in the casino industry.

Responsibilities

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment.
Delivers and executes service excellence.
Acknowledges and greets guests warmly and sincerely.
Conducts table transactions and provides signatory validations according to company and regulatory rules.
Ensures accuracy and completion of all signatory paperwork and transactions.
Ensures the protection and integrity of assigned games, currency, chips, playing cards, dice, and other assets.
Complies with State Lottery Regulations and Company Internal Controls.
Actively promotes company marketing and promotional events and answers guest questions.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs without difficulty, repeatedly.
Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency.

Skills

Strong math aptitude.
Strong manual dexterity skills for handling playing cards, chips, and dice.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
