About the Role
Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD. This full-time, year-round position offers a fun work environment, the chance to interact with guests, and an excellent compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment.
- Actively observe players and machine functionality.
- Perform jackpot payoffs, e-ticket paper fills, and minor machine repairs.
- Record and log VLT machines that are not working.
- Carry adequate currency for change and exchanges.
- Ensure Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
- Accurately process payments and documentation for jackpot payouts.
- Count and verify exchanges with the cage department and customers.
- Comply with State Lottery Regulations and Company Internal Controls.
- Promote company marketing and promotional events, and answer guest questions.
- Promote outstanding customer relations.
- Promote honesty and trust among the team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior money handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform job functions.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency.
