About the Role
As a Campus Engagement Intern at Binghamton University, you will represent Visions in a positive and professional way while building connections between the campus community and our credit union. This role supports outreach, engagement, and financial wellness efforts, providing hands-on experience in branch operations, member-service, and event support.
Responsibilities
- Support and participate in campus, community, and Visions-sponsored events.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by promoting approved, on-brand messages and resources to the campus community.
- Assist with scheduling on-site appointments, financial education programs, and engagement activities.
- Provide high-quality service to members, students, employees, and community partners.
- Assist branch staff with day-to-day operational needs, including teller and branch support responsibilities as assigned.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities throughout the internship.
- Support special projects and other duties that help advance Visions’ mission, strategy, and values.
Requirements
- Current enrollment and active student status at Binghamton University.
- Ability to participate in required orientation and training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortability speaking with different audiences and engaging with others in a friendly, professional manner.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortability using standard office equipment and basic computer tools.
- A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to working with others.
- Availability to support occasional evenings and weekend events, as needed.
