About the Role
We are building a universal autonomous red-teamer to stress-test AI agents for risks and attacks. This role involves leading the technical work to take our certification platform to general availability, improving customer certification efficiency, and guiding future product development. You will manage and grow a team of engineers, sharing leadership responsibilities with the current lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical work to take our certification platform to general availability.
- Find ways to certify more customers with less manual work.
- Bring more auditors onto the product.
- Help decide where the product goes after GA, through product judgment and experiments.
- Take over at least four engineers in the first few months and build a high-performing team.
- Join hiring loops in the first month or two and own hiring for your side of the team within a year.
- Share leadership responsibilities, including splitting reports and making decisions with another lead.
Requirements
- Experience as an engineering manager or tech lead manager at a top-tier engineering company, with startup experience.
- Experience founding a company, then hiring and managing a team.
- Shipped customer-facing product end to end and can defend product choices.
- Managed engineers directly and helped them grow.
- Willingness to dedicate about a third of time to hands-on work.
- Experience working within a system built by others, alongside startup or founder experience.
- Ability to co-run a team, split reports, share decisions, and make hard calls.
- Experience building security or compliance products is a plus.
- Experience as a hiring manager is a plus.
- Infrastructure depth is a plus.
