About the Role
The Communications team is seeking a strategic operator to manage a large, fast-moving global function, translating priorities into results. This leader will shape how the team plans, allocates resources, and measures impact, acting as a trusted thought partner to the CCO and senior leaders to help the function scale and focus on key objectives.
Responsibilities
- Translate strategy into action by defining priorities, sharpening goals, and building plans, milestones, and metrics.
- Drive the planning and performance rhythm, owning the cadence of planning cycles, OKRs, executive reviews, and meetings.
- Act as a thought partner to the CCO, anticipating needs, pressure-testing ideas, and flagging risks and opportunities.
- Shape resource decisions by partnering with the Communications operations team on budget planning, forecasting, and tracking.
- Align the function by working with leaders across various Communications teams to ensure alignment on priorities, resources, and timelines.
- Connect across the enterprise by partnering with operations, Finance, People, Legal, and Marketing teams to avoid duplication and share best practices.
- Build how the team works by identifying opportunities to improve structure, processes, tools, and reporting.
- Develop talent by leading and growing a small team, supporting hiring, onboarding, and organizational planning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, program management, consulting, or chief-of-staff roles, ideally within communications, marketing, or another corporate function.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear priorities and plans.
- Proven track record of running complex, cross-functional work and keeping senior stakeholders aligned.
- Financial fluency, including comfort with budgets, forecasting, and vendor management.
- Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information, and the credibility to work with executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complexity for senior audiences.
