About the Role

Join CLA's Central Texas Construction team as an Audit & Assurance Senior. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain specialized skills in a niche area, accelerating your career by working directly with construction clients. You will execute and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to CLA's purpose of creating opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the day-to-day activities of audit engagements with construction clients from start to finish.
• Manage engagement budgets, planning, and fieldwork.
• Direct staff and complete financial statements, including related disclosures.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable condition correspondence.
• Utilize proactive communication with staff, management, and clients to convey technical matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Ability to travel to client sites, which may require infrequent overnight travel.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Defense (DoD) contract support.
