About the Role
The Toronto Blue Jays are seeking a Manager, Strategy to join the Strategy & Analytics department. This role partners in the development and execution of organizational strategies, working cross-functionally on key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic planning for TBJ Business Operations and individual departments by outlining objectives, defining KPIs, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, and developing and managing implementation plans.
- Support cross-functional teams to solve key business challenges by ensuring a common understanding of goals, developing robust approaches and project plans, gathering stakeholder input, designing solutions, and supporting implementation.
- Manage and execute strategic initiatives by identifying and framing problems, conducting market research, performing quantitative analyses, and summarizing recommendations for decision-making.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy & Analytics team by coaching junior members, developing new capabilities, staying current with industry trends, and actively participating in team culture development.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years' experience in business analytics, management consulting, strategy and operations, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Desire to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
- Critical thinker with an ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past assigned work.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
